The Housing Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake, in partnership with TD Bank Group, is presenting a Money Matters Workshop entitled “Ways to Save” for Kahnawakehronon on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 5:30 to 8:30pm at the Golden Age Club.
The Housing Unit is offering this free financial/mortgage workshop to help Kahnawa′kehró:non improve financial literacy. Topics will include:
- Exploring different ways to save for the future
- Interest and how it grows
- Saving for your child’s Education (RESP)
- Saving with a Tax-Free Savings Account (TSFA)
As incentives, there will be prizes to win, and catered food will be available.
