The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the Community of upcoming road closures in the Veterans Boulevard area. These closures will allow for grading and preparations for paving, scheduled to take place from Tuesday, October 1st to Wednesday, October 2nd, weather permitting.
Paving operations are set to follow on Thursday, October 3rd and Friday, October 4th.
Work will be carried out each day between 7am and 5pm.
Shown below is a map of the general area. The red and yellow shaded area indicates where the road will be impassable to traffic.
Proper road signalization will be installed to warn of the construction limits. The roads affected will be closed to all traffic.
