Kahnawà:ke Labor Office to host Information Kiosk tomorrow

The Kahnawà:ke Labor Office (KLO) invites community members to an Information Kiosk tomorrow, Thursday, November 21st, in the lobby of the Kahnawà:ke Services Complex, from 11am to 3pm. This event offers an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on labor programs, workplace policies, health and safety, and other related topics. Community members are also encouraged to participate in the KLO Job Market Survey, either at the kiosk or online. Click here to take the survey.

As a gesture of appreciation, survey participants will be entered into a draw for a $100 Shop Kahnawà:ke Gift Certificate.

  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost CollectionWill continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer DepotCLOSED for the day
  • Town GarageCLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
