The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform the community of an upcoming road closure on the Old Malone highway scheduled for Monday, April 29, 2024, to Thursday, May 2, 2024, weather permitting. Capital Construction will be replacing existing water and sewer lines in the east section of the highway.
The red-shaded area of the map below indicates where the road will be closed to traffic.
Proper road signalization will be installed to warn of the construction limits and detours. The roads affected will be closed to all traffic. Access to homes and businesses in the area will be made available. Flag men will be in the area to direct traffic.
