KEPO North Creek Information Kiosk

Public Service Announcement

The Kahnawà:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) will be hosting an Information Kiosk at Tóta Ma’s Cafe between 10am and 2pm on Thursday, July 11th, to engage with the community and share updates on the North Creek Community Visioning Project (NCCVP). KEPO staff will be on-hand to share the North Creek restoration plan for fall 2024 and answer any questions. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

The NCCVP is part of a larger initiative known as Entewahnekahserón:ni (We are Rejuvenating the Water), which aims to:

  • Bring back flow/movement to the creek
  • Remove invasive species and plant native species
  • Protect and enhance the surrounding habitat

While North Creek cannot be restored to its original state, these initiatives emphasize the importance of protecting and restoring our natural habitat for future generations.

For more information, please contact KEPO at 450-635-0600 or environmentprotection@mck.ca.
