The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that after re-assessing the expected traffic conditions due to the Echoes of a Proud Nation Pow Wow, the Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) office will remain closed this weekend.
The office will resume its regular business hours on Monday, July 15th. The office is open for appointments Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm, and 1pm to 3:30pm. Walk-ins can be accommodated if the schedule allows. Visit Indigenous Services Canada for more information on applications and supporting documents for registration and status cards.
As originally requested by community members, the ISC office will be open to accommodate clients’ needs on another weekend in the coming weeks, date to be determined.
