Public Safety Division Announcement

The Public Safety Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to advise the community that Recreation Bay Beach will be closed for health and safety reasons due to high levels of E. coli.

It is recommended that the beach be closed until levels return to what is considered acceptable for swimming and recreation.

EHS technicians will continue testing, and the community will be kept updated on further developments. For more information, please contact Environmental Health Services at 450-635-9945 or the Public Safety Division at 450-632-0635.
