Distribution of IKEA overflow items this afternoon

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke, along with the Kateri Food Basket volunteers, are pleased to announce that the IKEA Distribution Center in Beauharnois is once again providing overflow products for distribution to Kahnawa’kehró:non at the Knights of Columbus Parking Lot this afternoon, Tuesday, July 23, beginning at 3:30pm and continuing while supplies last.

Today’s giveaway items are the overflow that was unable to fit in the trailer last week, and therefore a smaller number of items will be available.

Community members are asked to remain in their vehicles and allow the volunteers to bring the products to their vehicles. The volunteers will do their best to keep traffic moving.

When entering the Knights of Columbus parking lot, please use the west opening across from Tota Ma’s and exit east towards the funeral home (see map below).

The Kateri Food Basket volunteers will be on hand to give food donations to the community at their location (old Grumpy’s behind Village Variety) from 3:30pm to 7pm.

For more information or questions, please contact Trina C. Diabo at 514-779-4756.
