Call for Tender for 7 Generations Daycare Renovation Project

Public Service Announcement

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to advise Contractors that it is accepting submissions for the construction of a second outdoor ice surface.

Tender documents may be obtained in two ways:

  • Pick up at the Technical Services Office (in front of Kateri School) between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Email lance.mccomber@mck.ca

The MCK reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and the lowest bid will not necessarily be accepted. Bids not in accordance with the “Request for Quotation” will not be considered. All bids must be made using the Bid Form. Only bids completed on the Bid Form will be evaluated.  Any incomplete or partially completed bid forms may also be rejected. Contractors willing to hire as much local content as possible will be considered favorably during the Tender evaluation. Joint ventures between Kahnawà:ke and non-Kahnawà:ke contractors are acceptable on this project.

Bids can be submitted:

  • In-person with the receptionist at the Technical Services Office. Bids will be confirmed by a written receipt.
  • By email to lance.mccomber@mck.ca (10MB maximum attachment size, PDF is preferred file type. ZIP files will be accepted.) Email submissions will be confirmed by email within one business day. If no confirmation is received, please call Lance McComber

All bids must be received by 12pm on Monday, August 19, 2024.

  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost CollectionWill continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer DepotCLOSED for the day
  • Town GarageCLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
