The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is advising the community of the closure of River Front Road today, Wednesday, August 7 (see map below).
The Capital Construction Crew will be connecting water and sewer services for a residential building in the area. This connection to the main lines necessitates the complete closure of the street. The work is scheduled to be completed by 3:30pm. Detours will be clearly posted to facilitate traffic circulation.
