The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges, Inc. that maintenance and snow clearing work will require the overnight closures of the R-132 access ramps on the Kahnawà:ke side of the span this weekend.
- R-132 West up-ramp (from La Prairie/A-30 towards Montreal) CLOSED – Thursday and Friday 9pm until 4am
- R-132 East down-ramp (from Montreal towards La Prairie/A-30) CLOSED – Thursday and Friday 9pm until 4am
- R-132 West up-ramp (from La Prairie/A-30 towards Montreal) RIGHT LANE CLOSURE – Saturday 9pm to 4am
- R-138 East up-ramp (from Chateauguay towards Montreal) RIGHT LANE CLOSURE – Saturday 9pm to 4am
A detour via R-138 will be in place for the ramp closures.
Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
