fort wall repair on bike path

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke is pleased to announce the resumption of the Fort Wall repair project. Work will commence today, Tuesday, April 1st, and will continue on weekdays from 7am to 5:30pm. The project is expected to take six (6) weeks to complete.

This final phase of the Fort Wall repair was initially scheduled for completion in 2024 but was postponed due to weather conditions.

Fencing has been installed around the work site, and safety measures are in place to minimize dust and noise.

The community’s patience throughout this project is greatly appreciated. For further information, please contact Lance McComber at the Technical Services Office at 450-635-1016.
