JCCBI and AtkinsRealis (July 7 – July 14, 2025)

This letter authorizes the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and AtkinsRealis to conduct site surveys of the embankments of the Mercier Bridge (Sections 2, 3 & 4) along the R-138/R-132 Service Road, in both directions beginning on Monday, July 7, 2025 to Monday, July 14, 2025, from 9pm until 5am each day.

This work will require a partial lane closure.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
