Route 132 overhead sign project

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to advise the community that work on the overhead signs on Route 132 continues tonight, Monday, July 7th, from 9pm until 5am.

Crews will begin setting up the closures and detour at 8:30pm.

The partial lane closure is required for work on the foundations at two (2) locations between the Route 132 ramps of the Mercier Bridge and the lights at the Old Malone Highway intersection.

A counter-flow traffic detour will be in place in the East bound lanes of R-132, and motorists will be able to access the R-132 West up ramp (from La Prairie towards Montreal).

Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
