The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Incorporated that maintenance and repair work will require a ramp and lane closure tonight, Thursday, August 14th, from 10pm to 5am.
The R-138 West down ramp (direction Chateauguay) will be closed (see map), along with the right lane on the R-132 East down ramp (direction La Prairie/A-30) to repair and replace the crash attenuator at the R-138/R-132 split, which was damaged on Tuesday.
Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
