REMINDER – Kahnawà:ke Labor Office annual BBQ this Wednesday

KLO

The Kahnawà:ke Labor Office (KLO) would like to remind the community that its annual BBQ will be held on Wednesday, August 27th, on the grounds of the KLO offices located on the Old Malone Highway.

A complimentary lunch featuring barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs—with all the trimmings—will be served beginning at 12 noon.

Community members are invited to enjoy lunch while learning about the significance of Labor Day and the essential role that KLO plays in supporting Kahnawà:ke’s workforce. The full KLO team will be on-site to meet, greet, and engage with attendees.

In addition to meaningful conversations and information sharing, there will be promotional giveaways and a fun “Spot the Hazards” quiz game. Attendees will have a chance to win one of three (3) giveaway prizes; a $100 Shop Kahnawà:ke gift certificate, a hard hat, and an ASP30 – Health and Safety on Construction Sites course, a 30-hour training program that certifies individuals to work on construction sites.

In the event of inclement weather, the BBQ will be postponed to the following day.
