Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke 2026–2027 budget

Ratsénhaienhs Paul Rice presents the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke 2026–2027 budget, while the projected surplus is lower than last year’s $6.2M projection (17M actual), this reflects increased investment into community programs, services, and direct benefits. Key spending also aligns with the political priorities of land back, external government relations, improving quality of life for community members as well as financial independence and economic sovereignty.
