The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to announce the nomination results for the Alcoholic Beverages Control (ABC) Board, held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, overseen by Electoral Officer Marnie Jacobs and Assistant Electoral Officer Lindsay Leborgne.
- Wendy Mayo has been elected by acclamation to the ABC Board.
- Wahienhtha Jacobshas been elected by acclamation to the ABC Board.
With these results, all seven (7) seats on the ABC Board have now been filled. As a result, the election previously scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 2025, has been cancelled.
The ABC Board will now proceed with onboarding its members and resuming its regulatory functions under the Kahnawà:ke Alcoholic Beverages Control Law.
