Accused Released after Hearing in Longueuil Court today

The accused in a file involving threatening messages to the community, was released today after an in-person hearing at the Court of Longueuil. Joseph “So:se” Montour (DOB: 1995/07/22) was formally charged with uttering threats and breach of probation on August 12th, 2026 and was released with strict conditions to not be in the Territory of Kahnawake, refer to his charges on social media and not to possess weapons among other conditions.

Montour is still on a probation order from a Montreal file, where he is also not permitted to be in the community until December 2028.

Montour will have his next hearing in court on October 23rd, 2026.

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
