Animal Control Services is Seeking Community Input on Pet Services

The Public Safety Division’s Animal Control Services is pleased to launch a pet survey to better understand the needs of our community and enhance services for all pets and their owners.

Why Your Input Matters:

  • Your feedback will help identify areas where Animal Control can improve their programs and services.
  • To ensure that Animal Control’s resources align with the needs of both pets and their families.

What’s in the Survey?

  • Questions about pet ownership and experiences with our services.
  • Opportunity to give your feedback on our current services and how we can improve.

How to Participate:

  • Take the online survey here.
  • QR codes are available to scan with your smart phone at Kahnawake′s Dog Masquerade Pawty happening on Sunday, October 20th, from 2pm to 4pm at Karonhianónhnha Tsi Ionterihwaienstáhkhwa.
  • The survey will be open until Thursday, October 24th, so make your voice heard!

  • Transfer Depot will be closed

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost CollectionWill continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer DepotCLOSED for the day
  • Town GarageCLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
