Appeal on judicial proceedings dismissed by Superior Court of Quebec

MCK

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that an appeal has been brought forth on the judicial proceeding that was dismissed by the Superior Court of Quebec in May 2026, from Elvin “Jason” Diabo (the claimant), a community member operating under the name Wild Wild West.

In addition to the May 2026 decision to dismiss the seeking of damages sought by the claimant, the Superior Court of Quebec also ordered the occupant to vacate the premises and remove all personal property and structures.

As part of its ongoing commitment to transparency, the MCK is advising the community of this outcome regarding court proceedings.
