The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to notify the community that asphalt repair on Bell’s Beach Road will be carried out tomorrow, Friday, August 16th, between 7am and 5pm, weather permitting. The work requires the complete closure of the road.

Proper signalization will be placed to delimit the work zone. Access to homes in the work area will be limited during this paving operation.

The MCK also reminds the community that the project timeline may be subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or the progression of the work.

Orange Shirt Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday, September 30th.

Regular household Recycling pickup service and Compost collection will continue as usual. Please have your bins curbside by 7am. The Transfer Depot will be closed.

As the Town Garage will be closed, all cardboard drop-offs will be postponed to Thursday, October 1st.

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Thursday, October 1st, at 8:30am.
