Call for applications: MCK appointed Board Member for Tewatohnhi’saktha

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is inviting applications for one MCK-appointed member to serve on the Board of Directors of Tewatohnhi’saktha, Kahnawà:ke’s Economic Development Commission.

This appointment offers a chance to shape the community’s strategic and economic future while advancing Tewatohnhi’saktha’s mission of sustainable development and prosperity in Kahnawà:ke.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for appointment, candidates must:

  • Be recognized as Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawà:ke in accordance with the Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawà:ke Law
  • Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age on the date of appointment

Appointment Details

  • All appointments are made by the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke
  • Appointees will serve a four-year term, with the possibility of renewal
  • There is no limit to the number of consecutive terms a member may serve

Kahnawa’kehró:non who meet the eligibility criteria and are committed to supporting Kahnawà:ke’s economic future are encouraged to apply.

  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • No cardboard drop-offs
  • All essential services remain in operation
