This letter authorizes CIMA+ team members Benoit Grenier Poirier and Bernard Abou Merhi to access the Territory of Tioweró:ton on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, for a site visit.

The teams will be using the following equipment: Survey GPS. Their work will take place +/- 100 m on each side of the Second Bridge on Reserve #17, Territory of Tioweró:ton.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
