Complaints Process Information Session – April 24, 2025

The Complaints Process Information Session, held on April 24, 2025, at the Golden Age Club, was hosted by the Office of the Kahnawà:ke Kanien’kehá:ka Registry.

The event drew five attendees interested in learning about the eviction complaints process.

It was promoted through radio, newspaper, and a press release, with the goal of educating the public on how the process works, how to lodge a complaint, and general membership information.

Attendees were engaged, asking many questions about the KKR, complaint criteria, and potential amendments to the KRL. Some took complaint applications, while others took copies of the KKR and KKL laws.

The session also supported relationship-building and helped organizers prepare for upcoming kiosks by identifying common questions and concerns.
