Public Service Announcement

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform the community that the consultation for the returned Highway 30 and Old Chateauguay Road lands will close on Friday, March 14, 2025. Community members are encouraged to share their thoughts and participate in this important process before the closing date.

Independent consultants Neil McComber and Louise Mayo will be available for private consultations from Saturday, March 1st, to Friday, March 14th, between 9am and 9pm. Private consultations can be booked as either one-on-one sessions or in small groups.

Approximately 70 community members have already registered for these consultations, and the independent consultants will be contacting them shortly to set up the sessions.

Those who have taken the mapping exercise home from various kiosks can drop off packages at the MCK main building to the attention of the Public Relations Unit by Friday, March 14th.

Your feedback will play a key role in shaping the future of these lands and ensuring the community’s voice is heard.
