The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform the community that consultation for the returned Highway 30 and Old Chateauguay Road lands (539.3 acres) continues.
Independent consultants Neil McComber and Louise Mayo will be hosting consultation kiosks on the following dates and locations:
- Tuesday, February 25: 9:30am – 3pm at the Kahnawà:ke Services Complex
- Wednesday, February 26: 8:30am – 4pm at the at the Tewatohnhi’saktha lobby
- Thursday, February 27: 9:30am – 7pm at the Kahnawà:ke Services Complex
- Friday, February 28: 8:30am – 4pm at the Tewatohnhi’saktha lobby
Community members are encouraged to stop by, share their thoughts, and participate in this important process. This feedback will play a key role in shaping the future of these lands and ensuring the community’s voice is heard.
