Director of Financial Services resigns

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is informing the community that Erica Delisle has resigned as MCK’s Director of Financial Services.

Erica began her tenure at the MCK in 2006 with the Human Resources Unit, later moving into her director position in 2009. Over the last 18 years, has contributed to the development and growth of the organization as its finances evolved over the years. Erica has filled the role of Interim Executive Finance and Administrative Officer (2019) and ensured organizational financial controls during the challenging time of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

“On behalf of the Executive Office, we thank Erica for her work and dedication to the MCK, and the community, spanning nearly two decades,” said Executive Director Onerahtókha Marquis. “We are surely saddened to see her leave, yet confident that she will continue to contribute to the community and achieve great things in her new career.”

Until the position is posted and filled, Executive Financial Officer Kyle Delisle will oversee the vacant duties. Erica’s last day with the organization will be Friday, January 3, 2025.

Easter Holiday office closure

Friday, April 3rd & Monday, April 6th, 2026

All administrative offices of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke will be closed.

 

Please note the following changes to Waste Management Department services during this period:

 

  • Friday, April 3rd – Administrative offices closed
  • Monday, April 6th – Waste Management services resume as usual; however, there will be no cardboard drop‑offs
  • Monday, April 6th – Transfer Depot will operate with reduced hours, from 8am to 2pm

 

Garbage pickup service will continue through the holiday without interruption.

 

All essential services will remain operational throughout the office closures. Regular administrative office hours will resume on Tuesday, April 7th, at 8:30am.
