Donna McCarthy, new Director of the ASU

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is pleased to announce that Donna McCarthy is the successful candidate for the position of Director of the Administrative Services Unit (ASU), effective May 12, 2025. With more than 30 years of experience in the private sector across a range of senior management positions, she brings a wealth of experience in operational leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development.

McCarthy served as Vice President at Moore Canada for over a decade, where her career focused on aligning systems with business requirements, policies, and regulatory standards. She holds a Procurement Management Degree from Concordia University, along with certificates in Administration and Accounting. Her areas of expertise include financial oversight, relationship building, and organizational development.

“I’m confident that Donna’s experience and skills will make her successful in her new role as the Director of Administrative Services with the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact she’ll have on the projects within the Administrative Services Unit,” said Executive Administrative Officer Dawn Marquis-Deere.

She is passionate about applying her experience to help drive success, while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.

Waste Management services are as follows:

  • There will be NO Recycling and Compost collection
  • No cardboard drop offs
  • The Transfer Depot will be closed – regular Transfer Depot hours resume on Saturday, July 4th
  • Household Garbage collection will continue as usual

 

All essential services will remain in operation.

Regular business hours will resume at 8:30am on Monday, July 6th.
