The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Commission (KLC) wishes to advise the community that draft amendments to the Kahnawà:ke Election Law are now posted for viewing. Due to a technical issue with www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com, the draft amendments are posted for viewing here and have now entered the 30-day Feedback Period. The feedback period will be concluded on 24, Kenténha/October 2026.

Following the conclusion of the Feedback Period, the Technical Drafting Committee will compile a Feedback Report, which will be posted on www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com and reviewed along with the proposed amendments during the First Hearing in Phase II. The community will be informed once the CDMRP First Hearing date has been scheduled.
