Drone inspection of Mercier Bridge

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that authorization has been granted to the engineering firm, Les Services EXP, to launch a drone from the North Wall.

The specialized drone will be used to conduct inspections of the Mercier Bridge on behalf of the Ministère des Transports du Québec. The drone inspections will take place beginning on Monday, June 9, 2025, until Friday, June 27, between the hours of 6am and 8pm.

The inspections will focus on the upstream (Kahnawà:ke-bound) side of the span. The drone will be launched from areas on the Lasalle side of the Bridge and the North Wall, if required.

Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
