SOPFEU Fire Prevention Training

The Emergency Management Office of the Public Safety Division (PSD) is hosting a one-day fire prevention course which takes place this Friday, June 27th, from 9am to 5pm, downstairs at the Mohawk Legion Hall.

This free course is presented by Société de protection des forêts contre le feu (SOPFEU) and offered to all Kahnawa’kehró:non and Tioweró:ton Cabin owners. A light lunch & refreshments will be offered.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Tsi Na’teiontenonhwerá:tons Awenhnísera on Monday, October 12th.

The Waste Management Department will be closed for cardboard drop-offs. Regular household recycling, compost, and special collections pickup will occur as usual. The Transfer Depot will be closed for the holiday.

All essential services will remain in operation.

Regular office business hours will resume on Tuesday, October 13th, at 8:30am.
