This letter authorizes the company Groupe Civitas to be in the Territory of Kahnawà:ke with technicians, Kévin Autin, Luc Boivin, Rhéal Gagnon, Catherine Moreau, and Martin Larocque C.L.S. from March 25th, 2025, to April 4th, 2025, for land surveying.

They will be in the area(s) of:

  • Reserve Lot 56-4 Block H – Road behind Country Peddler Gas Station – Hwy 132

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
