This letter authorizes the company Groupe Civitas to be in the Territory of Kahnawà:ke with technicians Kévin Autin, Luc Boivin, Dominique Côté, Rhéal Gagnon, Martin Héroux, and Martin Larocque, C.L.S., from March 30th, 2026, to April 10th, 2026, for land surveying.
* This authorization allows an extension of the original requested dates previously approved.

They will be in the territory to conduct a survey in the area of:

  • Lot 106-198 Block G – New Development

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.

Orange Shirt Day office closure

Wednesday, September 30, 2026

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday, September 30th.

Regular household Recycling pickup service and Compost collection will continue as usual. Please have your bins curbside by 7am. The Transfer Depot will be closed.

As the Town Garage will be closed, all cardboard drop-offs will be postponed to Thursday, October 1st.

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Thursday, October 1st, at 8:30am.
