This letter authorizes the company Groupe Civitas to be in the Territory of Kahnawà:ke with technicians, Kévin Autin, Luc Boivin, Dominique Côté, Rhéal Gagnon, Frédéric Bourassa-Dion and Martin Larocque C.L.S. from May 18th, 2026, to May 29th, 2026, for land surveying.

They will be in the area(s) of:

  • Lot 142 Block G – Route 207

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
