This letter authorizes the company Horizon to be in the territory of Kahnawà:ke with technicians Michel Rolhion & François Danis C.L.S., from May 6th, 2025, to May 30th, 2025.

They will be in the territory to conduct a survey in the areas of:

  • Reserve Lot(s) 2, 4, 6, 7-1, 7-2-2, 7-3 Block A – Johnson Beach / Big Fence

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
