Housing Unit announces start of sixplex construction project

The Housing Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that construction of a new sixplex housing project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

A detailed construction schedule is currently being finalized by the contractor and will be shared with the community once available.

The Housing Unit appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as this project moves forward. The new sixplex is part of ongoing efforts to help address housing needs within Kahnawà:ke.
