Hydro-Quebec to conduct vegetation survey

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to advise the community that Hydro-Quebec technicians have been granted a permit to conduct a vegetation survey along its powerlines within the Territory of Kahnawà:ke. The Hydro-Quebec technicians will be accompanied by technicians from the Kahnawà:ke Environment Protection Office.

The survey is taking place today (July 22, 2024) and will continue until August 15, 2024.

This vegetation survey will require crews to access poles within the Hydro-Quebec right-of-way on common and privately held lands in Kahnawà:ke. See map below

Community members who have any questions regarding the Hydro-Quebec pole inspections can contact the MCK via email at questions@mck.ca.
