The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake wishes to inform the community that Ietsenhaienhs Jessica Lazare is attending the Regional Committee on First Nations Languages meeting that is being hosted by the First Nations Education Council from January 16 to January 18, 2024.
The objectives of this community representatives meeting are to:
- present regional issues related to our languages;
- consult the communities on their needs; and,
- present the projects proposed to the communities.
The meeting is being held at Manoir Saint-Sauveur. Lazare will return to the office on Friday, January 19.
