The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community of Ietsénhaienhs Melanie Morrison’s travel schedule for this week.
Morrison will be returning to the Territory today following a three-day event at the National Summit of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls two-spirit (MMIWG2S+) Urban Indigenous Action Group (UIAG) event in Ottawa, Ontario.
Discussions centered around addressing critical and systemic crises affecting Indigenous communities across Turtle Island.
Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.
The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Tsi Na’teiontenonhwerá:tons Awenhnísera on Monday, October 12th.
The Waste Management Department will be closed for cardboard drop-offs. Regular household recycling, compost, and special collections pickup will occur as usual. The Transfer Depot will be closed for the holiday.
All essential services will remain in operation.
Regular office business hours will resume on Tuesday, October 13th, at 8:30am.
