Ietsénhaienhs Melanie Morrison on medical leave

Public Service Announcement

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Ietsénhaienhs Melanie Morrison is on medical leave effective Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

During her absence, portfolio allocations will be determined at the next duly convened Council meeting.

She is expected to return on Monday, November 17, 2025. The MCK wishes Ietsénhaienhs Morrison a full and speedy recovery.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.

  • All Essential Services will remain in operation
  • The MCK Cashier will close at 12 noon
  • The Transfer Depot will close for the day at 11:30am and will resume operation on Saturday, June 20th, at 8am

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.
