The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to advise the community that Information Kiosks on the Indian Day School Settlement (IDS) Agreement will take place at the Post Office/Tewatohnhi’saktha building on the following dates:
- Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 11:30am – 4pm
- Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 9am – 4pm
The Indian Day School Settlement Coordinator Louise Mayo will be present to answer questions and assist persons who wish to receive help with their claims, particularly for Reconsideration Letters, Estate Claims, and either lost or stale dated cheques. This will be the last opportunity to meet with Ms. Mayo as the IDS Services will be ending June 28, 2024.
