Public Service Announcement

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to advise community members that payments for the Inflation Benefit will be delayed into the month of May. All eligible payments are now scheduled to be fully issued before June 1, 2026.

An extended amount of time is being taken to contact and confirm incorrect or missing information with applicants. This will ensure the process is completed properly and help create a more seamless and efficient experience for any similar initiatives in the future.

We understand that community members have been anticipating the Inflation Benefit and acknowledge that this delay may cause frustration. Once the exact issuance date is confirmed, an additional announcement will be shared.

Niá:wen for your patience and understanding.
