The Information Management Unit is responsible to plan and implement a strategy designed to develop, direct, and oversee its activities, roles and responsibilities, and policies and procedures.
The strategy will address consistent analysis, engineering, and development particularly through the following activities, programs, and services.
About Us
The Information Management Unit (IMU) is overseen by the Executive Office and is mandated with the authority and duty to govern over strategy, scope, and standards that drive the analysis and engineering of business processes and shapes the enterprise’s technological infrastructure and network access at the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK).

Management and maintenance of voice over internet protocol (VoIP) phone systems, mobile devices, teleconferencing and collaboration tools, and audiovisual equipment.
Software Management
Needs analyses, planning and project management, systems integration, middleware development, purchasing or developing software, testing, and maintaining software.
Data Governance
Setting the strategy, standards, policies and controls for data collection, classification, storage systems, document management, data privacy, security and protection, retention and
destruction, and access and retrieval.
Regulatory Compliance
Carry out inspections, develop orders, and support action in the event of non-compliance to existing community laws, regulations, and policies related to this mandate.
