IOM to conduct lift station maintenance

The Infrastructure Maintenance and Operations Department wishes to advise the community that crews will be working at the 2 lift stations on River Rd (near Quebec Bridge Memorial and near the Water Treatment Plant) tomorrow, Thursday, October 22, and Friday, October 23, between 7am and 2:30pm (if required).

The waste/sewage pump truck will be used for this operation, and there will be a partial lane closure at the Quebec Bridge Memorial location. Signage and a flagman will be there to help direct traffic. Residents in the vicinity may notice an odor during this work, and while unpleasant, it does not pose any risks.

The MCK would like to thank Kahnawa’kehró:non for your patience and understanding.
