Iroquois Caucus Meeting in Akwesasne

Public Service Announcement

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that the Iroquois Caucus is meeting today, Wednesday, January 15, through Friday, January 17, 2025 (inclusive), in Akwesasne.

Ratsénhaienhs David Diabo is attending representing the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke.

Agenda items for this meeting are specific to Priority Area Objectives and Strategic Planning for the Iroquois Caucus. Ratsénhaienhs Diabo will return to the office on Monday, January 20th.

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
