This letter authorizes the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) Les Services EXP Inc. to conduct inspections of the bridge/roadway and electrical systems of the Mercier Bridge (Sections 1,2,3 & 4) on Thursday, May 29 to Friday, June 27, 2025, between 10pm until 5am.

  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
