JCCBI and AtkinsRealis (October 14 – December 15, 2025)

This letter authorizes the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and AtkinsRealis to conduct geotechnical survey/borehole drilling for the Mercier Bridge Abutment Stabilization Project along R-132 & R-138 from October 14 to December 15, 2025. Work will take place between during the day, as well as overnight.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
