This letter authorizes the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and GHD to conduct groundwater sampling around the Mercier Bridge (R-132 & R-138), and on the North Wall.

Monday, June 22 to Wednesday, July 15, 2026 (Previously June 8 to June 20, 2026)

Monday, September 7 to Thursday, September 25, 2026.

Monday, December 1, 2026, to Friday, January 29, 2027 All work will take place between the hours of 7am and 5pm.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
