JCCBI and Les Services EXP (July 26-27, 2026)

This letter authorizes the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and Les Services EXP Inc to conduct inspections of the piers and steel elements on Section 2 of the span in both directions. This work will require lane and ramps closures.

This work will take place from Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 9pm until 5am & Friday, August 28, 2026, from 9pm to 5am.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
